California Says No to Renewable Energy Imports

August 28, 2011 - At a public meeting of the Nevada Public Utilities Commission in Las Vegas on August 24, this letter was distributed. The ramifications could be great for states like Nevada who seek to build large numbers of renewable energy projects and long transmission lines in an attempt to export power to California. The Governor's office of California says: "No thank you, we have enough renewable energy in state."
