Ravens are common residents of Oasis Valley, patrolling the highways in pairs for roadkills, and perching in trees cawing loudly. I suspect they nest in rocky hills and mountains surrounding the valley, as I sometimes come upon "white-washed" nooks and little caves high on cliffs where ravens may have been perching often.
